Our Travel Insurance is available as an annual multi-trip policy, or as short term policies to cover single trips. If you need cover for a single trip you can set your start and end dates, and we'll calculate the premium. If you are taking several holidays over the year, chances are the multi trip will provide better value for money. We even include winter sports cover on our annual policies to save you looking for another supplier later in the year.

If you have already made travel arrangements and do not have travel insurance you should start your cover immediately to ensure that you are covered in case you need to cancel your trip before you go. You can select a cover start date within 30 days of today’s date.

Automatically covered pre-existing medical conditions

You do not need to call the medical screening helpline if you only have one of the medical conditions listed below and have no other pre-existing medical condition. If you have more than one of the medical conditions listed below or only have have one, but also have another pre-existing medical condition, all medical conditions will be excluded from cover, unless disclosed to the medical screening helpline and additional cover agreed in writing.

  • Acne
  • ADHD
  • Allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) provided that you have not needed hospital treatment for this in the last 2 years
  • Allergic rhinitis including Hay fever
  • Arthritis (the affected person must be able to walk independently at home without using mobility aids)
  • Asthma (the diagnosis must have been made when the affected person was under the age of 50, and the asthma be controlled by no more than 2 inhalers and no other medication)
  • Blindness or partial sightedness
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Cataracts
  • Chicken pox - if completely resolved
  • Common cold or flu
  • Cuts and abrasions that are not self-inflicted and require no further treatment
  • Cystitis - provided there is no on-going treatment
  • Deafness
  • Diabetes (which is controlled by diet or tablets only)
  • Diarrhoea and vomiting - if completely resolved

Any premium for additional cover will be paid directly to the screening helpline and not to Yellow Jersey.

If for any reason you are not able to purchase additional cover and you wish to cancel the main travel policy, Yellow Jersey will offer a full no quibble refund within the first 14 days of purchase.
